The new born baby has a very sensitive skin. So its essential to select the best toiletry to suit the sensitive skin. I see Johnsons baby products and Sebamed products around me. I live in the Middle east country and this is all i see in the super markets here. I am yet to check with the mother care shop here which is quite far from my place. I just need some ideas on producuts used for the baby during bath and massage. Any suggestion to make the baby feel good calm and sleep well and also smell good? Also a good detergent that i can use for baby's clothes. Thanks :-)

First of all-Congrats-Johnson's has the best baby products on the market-my son has sensitive skin also-i use mostly fragrence free wipes and such-they say the lavender baby wash helps to calm babies so you could use that at night-i don't think putting a few drops in the bath water would do much damage so use with caution just don't use it as the wash for his skin. And also if you don't like Dreft-ALL makes a free and clear product for laundry-it does not have perfume or dyes in it and it works very well-it comes in a white bottle to help distinguish it at the store if it is available where you are.-Good luck to you.

I used Dreft detergent and all the Johnson products. My daughter has really sensitive skin and eczema but these products never hurt her, and they are a lot cheaper than many other products out there. My baby was a good sleeper due to just being rocked and sang to and she always smelled good because I gave her a bath everyday and even an extra bath if she had a really messy diaper. Hope this helps!

for detergent I suggest All free and clear for sensitive babys skin. Its free of dyes and perfumes supposedly and won't cause a rash. I used it and it seemed good - I was concerned about perfumes in other products
As for toileltries I would highly recommend Mustella products especially the diaper cream. its great stuff - smells really good and helps with diaper rash. Used it at a daycare I worked at after my son was older so never got to use it on him. For my next baby I will be buying Mustella - love it!
