That soda and mentos is actully true, I tried it already.

You can find pretty much any urban legend there and they will let you know if true or not with explanations. Works wonders when you get one of those emails like.."Be careful who you let babysit your child, a babysitter in Atlanta was tripping on acid and thought the baby was a turkey and then put it in the oven."
I know that's pretty nasty, but things like that. So have fun snoping!!!

There's a lot of "urban legends" going around. Such as...
On Friday nights, if you see a car driving with no headlights on, do not flash them. It is supposed to be a gang thing, where they will come back and shoot the person for an initiation or something! NOT TRUE!!
Or there's a real experiment where they add mentos to a 2 liter bottle of soda, and the soda shoots up like a fountain...Well, supposedly it'll make you vomit like a fountain if you drink soda, and immediately eat mentos. Eeeew! I don't know about that, but I ain't gonna try it!

okay, this isn't a good one but I've seen this email going around a bazillion times and I just want to tell people it's not real. The one that supposedly quotes some verse of the Quran, ya know the chapter nine verse eleven saying that they will awake a mighty eagle and blah, blah, blah, although it sounds great enough it's absolutely false. There is no scripture even remotely close to this found anywhere in the Quran

My favorite is called "The Choking Doberman" about a lady who comes home and finds her dog choking on something. So she takes him to the vet and the vet tells her to go home and he'll keep the dog overnight and watch him. When she gets home, the phone rings and its the vet and he tells her to hang up and get out of the house. So she does and later the cops show up and go into her house and pull out a burglar that had been cowering in the closet. The cops later explain to the woman that her vet had called them and said that her dog was choking on a human finger he had bit off the burglar when he broke in!
I told this story at a family gathering and one of my aunts thought it was real!

this guy found a dog in the middle of the ocean so he take it home with him a week later he take to the doctor and the doctor asks if it bit any one and he's like yeah why and the doc's like this isn't a dog a it's a rat
