The rockies are indeed on a great run. Are they still wearing the vest type jerseys though cause it they are, I can' deal with them. Also it wouldn't hurt if they got rid of the purple, and weren't an expansion team. Other than that I can respect them.

Great team? Do you people understand that they were lucky that the San Diego Padres and New York Mets went on one of their worst streaks possible when the Rockies actually started winning on a consistent basis. All I have to say is that the two best teams in August were the Mets and Padres, and none of those teams got into the playoffs despite having 2 more and 1 more losses than the Rockies respectively. If the Rockies have a great season from April-September next year, they deserve all the respect, but its a joke to give them this much credit on a one month run. The Mariners, Yankees and Dbacks all had great runs at one point this season. The Rockies were just fortunate enough to pull all these wins at the best possible time.

Vests and purple are our trademark... We are 48/50 in the lowest pay scale for a team in the League... It doesn't take fancy jersey's and tolerable colors for them to win, it is what is in their hearts and the physical ability to work together to be a GREAT team.

Not a wisper from Rockies fans all year long and now they are coming out of the woodworks. If the fans themselves don't make some noise, than why should anyone else?

they have been getting some love from what I have seen, almost taking them out of the role of the underdog.
