It is too soon for me to say who, out of the available candidates, I would cast as my vote for president. One person that will NOT get my vote is Hillary Clinton. She is dangerous and she is going to be the ruin of this country if she manages to get in office.

One thing I wish to comment on, is this urge that the media pushes every year, where everyone is to get out and vote. This infuriates me to no end. If you are NOT knowledgeable about the candidates and what they plan on doing once in office, you should be no where near a voting booth. This is a dangerous thing to encourage. People who care about what is going on and are informed, do vote. When you have uninformed people at the voting booths, you get the woman who will vote for Hillary because she is a woman, blacks who will vote for Obama because he is black and people like the person above who will vote for a candidate like Duncan because he is from the same state. This is dangerous and I don't see how they can continue to encourage this. What they should be encouraging people to do is pay attention and care about what happens in their country.

If you want the government to leave you alone.
If you want us out of Iraq.
If you want your constitution to stay intact.
If you want no income tax.
If you want to feel good about your country again.
You want Ron Paul.
The most experienced, honest, politician this country has ever had since the days of thomas jefferson and george washington .
Look into Ron Paul not only will you be amazed at what he has to say you will soon become addicted to his message like millions already are. Do yourself a huge favor and see why so many young and old have come together in the name of freedom and liberty which is what this country was founded on. The only person I have ever felt good about calling my hero. He is one of a kind and we as a nation will never have the chance of a man like this ever again.
Google Ron Paul. Do yourself this favor and enjoy the new found passion which is the freedom message.

yes that's a VERY good reason for voting for duncan hunter. "he's from my state, he must be a good president"
It's Freaking yo-yo's like you that make democracy fail...
how about voting for somebody based on their platform on the issues? and if you're going to pick an obscure person like duncan hunter then you should give ppl not in the loop a rundown on his platform....

Personnally I'm voting for whatever neofascist decides to throw his hat in the ring...
I'm sick of democracy, it only promotes the raising of the lowest common denominator of our society higher then it should be, which is proven by yokels like you.
It's all about who has the best sound bite, the best media friendly persona and it all BS and lies

I would like to see Mitt Romney but I will support the Republican Nominee. I just hope it is not Ron Paul because he is a Democrat in Disguise.

Marsha Feinland, of the California Peace & Freedom Party. She ran in 1996. I don't know if she's running again.

I do know that she was the only candidate on the ballot who opposed both Democratic and Republican warmongering, and supported BOTH the right to medical care AND the right to bear arms! That's right, a LEFTIST who supports gun rights.

She was also the only candidate to pledge to place the full power of the White House in support of all workers' rights to unionize. Add that to a position of fighting against racism, of "free abortion on demand" and "U.S. troops out of EVERYWHERE" and you've got a decent candidate.
