A list of books and other sources of info that are relevant to your subject. Magazine articles, online sources, TV shows, personal interviews you may have conducted: these all may be included in a bibliography.
Usually a source's title, author, publisher are included. You should consult a style book or online source to see what format you should follow. The Chicago Manual of Style, available in your school library, will provide you with format information. Or perhaps your college or class has its own style book which you can consult.
In some cases teachers only want to see what sources you have actually consulted. Otherwise you can list any sources which a reader of your report might find useful.

A bibliography is usually at the back of a book. It contains the sources the author used to write the book.

Oh dear. Get a reference book. Look in the back where it says 'Bibliography' and imitate. As you've been told, it's a list of sources (books, magazines, articles, newspapers) you've referred to to create your own study piece. There will be guidelines to follow, each institution has their own so consult your tutors maybe. And listen better in class!

It's a list of the books that you used when you researched your essay or coursework. It might look something like this:

BIBLIOGRAPHY

Evans, K. 'Business Studies for Year 11'. Routledge (2006)
Jones, H. 'Accounts for Beginners' Black & Sons (2005)
Young, S. 'Business Facts' R.Black & Sons (2007)

That's all you have to do. Just set it out as I've shown you. Good luck!

a bibliography is a list of books, journals, and websites that you have read to complete your work. It is different from a reference list as this is where you have cited (made reference) to someones work. Its very confusing isn't it.

a list of references you used to do your work....books, magazines, encyclopedias etc
it's where you give credit to the originator of the information so that you aren't accused of plagerism (however you spell that)
it goes at the end of your paper
