In the past any friend that I had they approached me and so we became friends. They were not always the best quality and not someone I would have probably chosen if I did choose. I usually end up cutting them off. Now I only talk to my mom, husband, and kids. I spend a lot of time alone, which I enjoy alot, but sometimes I wish I had a friend or two when I get lonely. Am I weird? Can anyone relate?

Yea,I know how that feels.I never had alot of friends.Sometimes not even a few.It makes for a lonely life sometimes.I have no husband/boyfriend(didn't feel comfortable with their games)but do have one teenager.
Friends can come and go like the weather.I found that just doing what I enjoy, being outside, having a nice personality, open mind, and good morals I have run across a few good friends.I used to want to be popular.I outgrew that.Too much of a hassle.I'm kinda a loner/survivor type, and tomboy to boot.No your not weird.Neither am I.: ).

not weird, but you should have friends for just when you feel like talking to someone. It sounds like you may lack confidence in yourself perhaps so if you build that up, you may gain friends that way. You can try going to a gym perhaps and meeting women friends there, or a bowling league for women during the day, or even find a good web site to find friends you can talk to through email and im. I am in Michigan but my best friends are in Nova Scotia, Canada, New York, New Jersey, and even Rio in Brazil. I will provide a link to us here - click on the forum button to visit the forum or join the trivia game we have been playing - but there may be others as well that are just a group of people who become friends for example on Pogo.com. I hope you find a few friends for those times that you wonder if you are weird and have fun!!

I'm in the same position as you so you're definetly not alone in your situation. I'm single (still young) but you have a nice family there with you so you have it alot better than me. People try to be friends with me but I don't fit in with them at all. I'm not going to change for them so I just enjoy activities that I can do by myself.

yes I can! I am in my mid 30's. 1 friend. Wife has plenty, Trust me..... Friends use and abuse "our" kind. We don't have many friends because of our loving hearts. Sometimes we can't take what they dish out. Poor social skills. Keeps us out of trouble though.
