I have never been married, have no children, and had a vasectomy, so you might say I have all the kids I want.
I am thinking about keeping my vasectomy a secret. I just won't marry anyone that I know wants kids.

It is a good plan no matter what. I got mine 20 years ago. It was $250. That works about to about $1.65 a month. Many of my friends pay at lest $600 in child support, so I think I got a good deal! Not ever being stuck paying child support is a high priority to me.
I was married, and got mine even though I had no kids (I was 21). I didn't give my wife a choice. So we divorced. She got pregnant right away, and had to give it up for adoption because she was an unfit mother. Clearly it was a good choice, was it not?
Twenty years later, I am still happy with my vasectomy, even though Ionly date women that don't want kids, and are also sterile.
If you have children, but don't want more, then it is a very good plan. Just think how much it will allow your sex life to improve.

yes it is a very good idea. you are done making your family and don't want to have birth control weighing on your sex life anymore. you had the kids now it is time to enjoy your intimacy! my boyfriend and i already plan that either when i turn 30 or we have 2 more kids (whatever comes first) he will have a vasectomy. he has 10 years to worry and he will be 42 so that is plenty of time!

If both of you agree that you want no more or no children then it is a wonderful idea and very thoughtful of the man. It is a pretty non-invasive procedure compared to the woman getting her tubes tied. It also makes for some really good sex because that nagging little doubt in the back of your mind that you might accidently get your wife pregnant.
Good Luck

If you both agree that you don't want kids, or any more kids.
My husband had one, and I was so glad that I didn't have to worry about birth control anymore. I was tired of taking a pill, or getting the shot, and then worrying if I was a day late. After he got it done, we still had to use contraceptives for 6 more weeks, to be sure all the sperm was gone and then it's been Oh la la ever since. (6 years and counting.......)

yes and no if you are young wait until you are about 45 but if you are young and you now you have a stable marriage and you have enough kis and you do not want anymore then go ahead and do it. But see you need to always think if you get a divorce and you remarry and your new wife wants kids what are you going to go it is a win win situation and itdepends on you entirly and don;t worry it is not going to take ur man hood away and it is not going to affect it going up the only hing it does is not let those little swimmers get to the women thats it;

"after you don't want kids" shouldn't enter the question because you don't know what the future may bring. To "not want any more kids" is in a different light. It's more understandable. Say, after four or five kids, with today's prices, I can certainly see that.

If you both are done with having children and you both discussed this then there is nothing wrong with having a vasecomy. The only thing is if you two were to split up and then later the man gets remarried and his new wife wants to have his child then it can become costly to get it reversed and sometimes he may still not be able to produce sperm.

What a wonderful gift for the wife! The recovery time is shorter for men than for women who have hysterectomies and tubal ligation. The chance to forget about birth control would make me one hot lady, thereby my husband one happy, if tired, man!

yes,if u know that's what u want,and that u are not thinking it means u can go out and be promiscuous because u can't get some one pregnant,because that will cause problems with in the marriage.
