what should i call a superhero that steals from the people he helps?

Well, presumably he doesn't want people to know he's doing this (why else would anyone accept his help) so he wouldn't want to choose an obvious name like SNEAK THEIF or the BACKSTABBER.

He'd want something more heroic, though not SO heroic that it actually draws too much attention. He needs to get in and get it, with his ill-gotten gains.

How about INFILTRATOR? It sounds superheroic and yet is just ambiguous enough. Or DAYNIGHT, which doesn't really mean anything but goes with the whole good/evil motif.

On a less serious note, if you're looking for a sillier idea, then how about something like THE FLEECER?

Going from a name generator: The Fearless Weirdo, The Super-Intelligent Weirdo, The Magnificent Weirdo, The Radioactive Scarab, The Illustrious Inferno, The Irresistible Inferno, and so on. If you don't like any of those you can go to www.quizopolis.com to find more names. ^_^
