I am one of them...
Although I think some are truly talented, in general I hate/fear them bc:
1. I find them very sad and not at all funny...
2. I cannot understand why you'd choose to make a foul of yourself for a living
3. have you seen the movie "the it"? that's the most important reason...
My mom said that my hate/fear of clowns might have to do with the fact that my aunt scared me when I was little by wearing a clown mask...
of course, metaphorically speaking, I don't think there's anyone who would want to be around clowns...
there's only one case I like clowns...the following song:
"clowns to the left of me
jokers to the right
here I am
stuck in the middle with you..."

Because one of those freakish things scared the bejesus out of him/her as a little kid.
If they did presents like the Santa story, kids might get over the scare.

Freaks smeared with make-up to exaggerate their features, who communicate via silence or weird noises, often snickering at the expense of others, and forcing you to laugh, Laugh, LAUGH! Or else.
Nope, no issues in my psyche, none at all!

You know i am one of them? Oh, yes...
I love having fun, i love laughing and all this is just not my idea of having fun.
And i am completely against circuses,too because i think they are all against animal rights.
