Yeah, but here are a few things to consider in mitigation of Israel's crimes: the length of time of the conflict, the incursions into Israel itself, and the hostility of the surrounding countries.
If the US invaded Iraq for its oil, then the entire war and occupation are all war crimes.
No one comes out very good on this.
The US can partially redeem itself by mediating a peace agreement and statehood for Palestine, but Rice is inept, and Bush lacks the "political capital" and the will to do what is right.
