If that is the end of Day 6, then Day 7 would need to be 1000 years long before God could do any work in order to observe the holy Sabbath. Coincidentally, 1056 years pass before Noah is born. It would take another 600 years before the Ark was completed. By Day 2 of the second week, Abraham was coming on the scene. By Day 3, David was king and the prophets were getting tortured. During Day 4, Jesus reveals His message to His disciples. Around the beginning of Day 5, the Crusades were heavily underway. Which brings me to where we are currently. This is still the middle of Day 5. That means God's plan must be fulfilled no later than 1500 years from today. Crazy? I used to think so too. Jesus must rule for 1000 years. It would seem logical that He would rest afterward, during which Satan is released again before being obliterated. If 500 years is all that is left to fulfill Biblical prophecy, that would mean it's outside of our life time. But not your descendant's. You don't have to pass on this info to anyone. But please don't ignore it.

A day is defined as the period it takes the Earth to rotate. So the end of days will be when the Earth stop rotating which probably means the Earth is destroyed.
However maybe by that time the human race have colonised other worlds and thus have new days on those worlds
