Not that I have ever heard of.

It is usually stated that Cuba has no dangerous wildlife.

As far as I can see on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crotalus, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sistrurus ), the only rattlesnake found on any Caribbean island is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crotalus_durissus - and that only on Aruba and a couple of other small islands.

Most Caribbean islands eradicated their snake populations centuries ago...

'French' Dominica still might have some though???
I don't know enough about Dominica but I know they've changed very little over the centuries.

The only isle I can thinking of is Trinidad, which is KNOWN to have very big snakes still.

But ofcourse that's why you don't go camping in the woods of Trinidad. ;-)

There are no poisonous snakes in Cuba.

I doubt it. It's rare for an island to have snakes at all.
