Yes I know they already won against the Dbacks.
I'm talking Red Socks ( or maybe Indians)

If they World Series was to start in a couple days....even on the weekend.....then they would have a legitimate shot at a sweep.

Time off does break momentum...Look at the Tigers last year....Not comparing teams but their time off hurt them more than help.
Cardinals came out of a hard fought 7 game series against the Mets....had that energy going....and took care of the Tigers in 4.
Its that Energy that has spearheaded the Rockies into the World Series....

I would be very surprised.

When the Rockies get matched up with the Indians (or maybe the Red Sox), they'll see a much more fierce opponant then they've seen throughout thier streak. I see them hitting a wall in game one - which will be played in Cleveland (or maybe Boston) where the home crowds will go nuts.

As an AL fan... I really don't watch a lot of NL ball, as the NL really hasn't had the high caliber teams the AL has in recent years. BUT - the Colorado team has me excited to watch them. I hope it's a great series.

It's nice to be enthusiastic but the reality of is that both the Indians and Red Sox are good teams and a hot streak can turn cold just as quickly as it started. I also believe the Rockies have the ability to win the world series but I believe it will go at least six.

No way.. The Rockies are going to be going up against CC Sabathia and Caurmona or Beckett and Schilling in there first two games... at the best Rockies in 6... The AL got the home field advantage and have been better in interleague play... either way whoever the Rockies play It's goin atleast 6 games.

It could happen...but probably won't...they will have to start the series on the road and playing in Arizona is a lot different than playing in Boston or Cleveland (depending on who wins the ALCS...hopefully Boston)...they have a good shot at winning at home but those two AL clubs are a lot better than the teams they have beaten so far plus their home fields are an entirely different atmosphere.

As much as I'd love to see them go 11-0 in the playoffs, odds are definitely against it. Both the Sox and Indians are better hitting teams than Arizona, and they'll have to start on the road again. They certainly have the talent to win the series though, regardless of who they play. Go Rocks!

There's no way after 8 days of rest the Rockies will sweep either AL team. It's not impossible, but it's HIGHLY unlikely.

The long layoff won't hurt the Rockies. They're playing at a very high level mainly because they're focused on winning the World Series.

I would certainly love to see them sweep the World Series! That would DEFINITELY put them in the history books....not to mention when next season comes around, it'll make all the other teams quiver in their cleats...
