I still watch the postseason. I don't watch it as much I watch the Mets during the regular season, but I pick a team and root for them. I picked the D-Backs until they got eliminated. Now my team is the Indians. If they get eliminated I'm picking the Rockies. So far I haven't really been lucky. First the Mets, now the D-Backs, next the Indians, then the Rockies. They're all gona lose because I want them to win. Anyway, do you still watch the postseason when your team is gone from it?

I love baseball period. I still watch the playoffs and I always watch the World Series regardless of who is in it. My team didn't even make the playoffs this year (White Sox), but I am captured by the Rockies amazing run so I'm rooting for them and glad they made it to the World Series, but I'm pulling for the AL to win the World Series, hopefully Boston! But I feel Celeveland will win, which I guess would be ok by me. 3 straight years of World Series appearances by an AL Central team would be vindication for all the jokes about the AL Central since 2000.

my team is the Indians and no, I really do not watch postseason baseball unless the Indians are in it. I do, however, always root against teams like the NYY and Red Sox when they are in it. I root against NYY no matter who they are playing, especially when they are in the postseason because it is a very pleasurable experience to see the Evil Empire go down in flames.

Yes, though I made a willing exception for the 2000 World Series. I was on an RV road trip, making viewing the games on tv or following along on-line non-trivial, and I really had no interest in which team won. I did see a little bit of it.

It is still baseball, it is still one of the finest creations of man, and it is, sadly, the last little lingering bit of summer joy. When the Series is over, baseball is gone for five months, the dead time of the year (in the northern hemisphere) in more ways than one. I'd rather have a poor, uninteresting game, than none at all.

Ok, so can you just not root for the Rockies then? :)

I watch the entire season, including the playoffs, whether my Astros are sucking (like they did this year) or were unable to make the postseason. Baseball is fun to watch no matter who is playing, in my opinion. Well, unless it's Tampa Bay, then I admit I have no desire.

Braves: Eh, it could have been worse. as nicely, a minimum of we are in a position to assert we've been given knocked out by the champions. Reds: thank you to bypass Dusty! Twins: Ugh, i assume that is greater suitable than the Yankees. Giants: particular!!! Am I dreaming? is that this going on for genuine? We have been given a identify in San Fran lastly!!!

Yes, but not as much of it. I watch it if it is on and if I am in the mood to watch baseball. I was going for the Phillies when the White Sox didn't make it, then it was the Indians. It is much less interesting.

I don't root for any other team than my own.

My team didn't make the playoffs..
There is too many other sports to follow right now.....If my team is not competing in it....then its hard for me to keep the sport as a priority to watch. I will watch the World Series..but so far....the playoffs have not grabbed my attention.

...gives me a reason to hang out at a local bar, Dbacks was my team and now that they are out, probably root for the Rockies since they are from the same division/conference and should the Dbacks have made to the World Series I definitely would have been there in person...

I don't watch it as much as I normally would, but I like to root against the teams that kept my team out. And I always like to root against the Red Sox.
