Reason for asking, I was asked by a man, "Do you think its sissylike to watch soaps"? I said, "absolutely not, it's just like watching weekly shows like Dallas, etc"
My brother has watched DOOL for over 20 years....
Kudos to you guys who stand your ground and turn that TV on in the middle of the day and watch your fave soap!!

Oh you just had to ask this question!
Now I must confess...
I was a GH & AMC fan from 1980 - 1989, then I somehow found myself pulled away back to a world without them, until I married my wife, who in turn brought me back, but to a new combo....
Y&R and B&B...
And now I have a chance to finally vent in public!
The new Victoria on Y&R stinks, worst replacement I have ever seen and will always want the old one back.
Someone please kill Phyllis.
Someone please kill Sharon.
And let that someone be Kathryn! She has been such a sweet old lady. Granted she was a drunk, but she has always been the one there for those in need. That woman could use a good psychotic episode, and go on a killing spree! let the old gal loosen up and have some real soap fun!
Please send Amber anywhere! Anywhere but Y&R and B&B! Might as well kill her too... Paul needs a real woman in his life, not to settle down, but to release some sexual frustration.
And now on to B&B...
Why are all these women fighting over Ridge? I am sorry, but he is no real catch! He looks like Skeletor from "Masters Of The Universe".
And as for Brooke Logan? I am the only man left on the planet that the woman has yet to marry! I betcha if I change my last name to Forrester, she would be knocking on my door this afternoon looking for a date!
And tell Taylor to get her lips fixed, they really look bad. And why is Ashley in B&B getting into the same plot messes that she has already gotten into at Y&R?
Do men watch soaps?
The real question should be...
"Would any woman worth her salt allow her man NOT to get involved with her soaps..?"

I had always love the young and the restless that show had been on since 1978 and later on the bold and the beautiful came on after that .......I don't see the newer ones cause I watch the French channel tva but I like the older version

I have been watching General Hospital for over thirty years.
It makes me laugh so many men watch WWF and that is nothing but a soap opera and yet they laugh at "regular" soap watching

I don't have cable and the doctor won't let me drive so yes i watch soap and their fun to watch

Been watching AMC since 1981, but haven't seen it live for years I tape it. Still watched it while at college, working, away thanks to the VCRs.

I can't speak for other men, but I would rather be working than have to watch ANY daytime television (that includes game shows too)
