do conservatives understand that the incarceration strategy is no solution?

there are 2 million americans locked up often for nonviolent (drug) crimes.we spend more to build and incarcerate people than any other country. the war on drugs is stupid and enforced in a racially discriminatory manner.wake up and help fix the systemic problems we have with family, education and poverty. If you continue to believe arrogant, ignorant know it alls like rush limbaugh you will rip this country apart. this is not a partisan issue. wake up

Realize that more then 70% of this country is made of working man and woman that don't really give a care about these issues. There to busy self-beating themselves for not being pretty enough, rich enough, or "loved" enough to really care about these issues. You take care of their insecurities and maybe, just maybe, they see the error's that other have done. But for the most part, thanks alot to our poplar culture, we have "better" things to worry about, or even if not that, people just assume their not smart enough to know what to do. So its a problem that goes beyond just seeing a problem, we need to know how to get people to address it.
