I'm the only one that has half moons in my entire family.
Sometime it make me feel kind of special in a good way. =)

No, not me! Awww, I'm glad they make you feel special! Do you feel like you're one with the moon? LOL, just kidding!

Yes I do - and you should feel special, it is a sign of good health (although not having them does not necessarily mean you are in bad health).

The 'moon' or 'lunula' you see is actually the leading edge of the matrix, which is where the nail plate cells are born. The moon is most prominent on the thumb nails and can be seen on the index fingers and the middle fingers, but is rarely seen on the ring fingers and (almost) never on little fingers.

Yes, but very little ones. They don't really make me feel special though. Did you know that people used to believe that people with white spots on their fingers were lucky and had good luck everyday? Pretty funny but it's wrong.

Oops! Sorry, do you mean the circly things at the bottom of our thumb's fingernnails? Yeah, I have them, I think it's rather normal though, most people have it. They're more like quarter moons to me though. And you should feel kind of happy because it means you've got strong healthy fingernails!
And all your other fingernails should have them too, but much smaller and you can't really see the ones on your pinky though.

I have them on both my thumbs. They have faded a bit from when i was younger ( I refuse to say as I get older).

And no, they don't mean a thing. It's air trapped between the nail and nail bed.

"The little moons rising over some people's cuticles are called lunulae and are as devoid of meaning and purpose as any body part can be. Their presence or absence is no indicator of physical health., nutritional habits, moral rectitude, personal hygiene, manual dexterity, intelligence, breeding, sexual orientation, bank balance…. "

I have them on 8 of 10 fingers including my thumbs. My pinkies don't have them.

I've always been told the more lies you tell, the bigger your white spot gets on your thumb, you must tell a lot of lies! =P
