With the metropolitan area of Atlanta, the rest of North Georgia, and other sections of my state only 3 months away from running out of water, there is a very real chance that millions of Georgians will have to abandon their homes and find refuge elsewhere. Millions of us, including all of our millions of illegal immigrants, may soon be headed YOUR way.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as mandated by the Federal government, is releasing billions of gallons of water each month from Lake Lanier, the main water source for Atlanta, and sending it downstream to Florida and Alabama. The excuse is to protect an endangered species of mussel and oysters in those areas. They are ignoring that human beings are now an endangered species in Georgia.

The U.K. doesn't need to worry because it's too far away and too expensive to reach. Canada may need to worry, however.

Also, North Carolina is 9 months away from no water, it is a major problem. Although in upstate new york in the 1950s or 1970s they made rain when there was a drought.
Actually my father wrote a book about it but it was never picked up.

Nature is one factor that humans cannot achieve dominion over. Drought, flooding, abnormal temperature swings, earthquakes, tidal waves, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards; There seems to be a cycle these natural phenomena repeat. So just quit your silly worries. Try, instead, to construct a model that will provide you with the necessity needed for survival. Dang.

Oh, don't get hysterical. If Georgia runs out of water, they'll bring more in from somewhere else. It's the 21st century. We have these things called trucks that can be used to move things.

As a Texan,I pay a lot of attention to these types of things,as we are known for going from drought to flood here. The one thing I don't understand is why doesn't this country have aqueducts to alleviate these types of problems. The Romans had hundreds of them, and that was over 2000 years ago.If things get real bad, won't they close the dams?

I'll do a rain dance for you.

Give it about a day or two, and then make sure you have a boat handy, OK?
