You might use this for an or a

or most anything else that could take a background-image. You specify the background-image address wherever it is...in the same directory as the htm file, or a subdirectory (like, images/myimage.gif) or an absolute address on another website (like, url('http://www.somedomain.com/myimage.gif');)

You could of course place this in style="...
or in the in the ...
or in the in the ...
...and like that
