I knew a guy who killed his girlfriend.
Edit: Oh yea, i remember I worked with this guy who he and his brother killed a drug dealer and had gotten away with it for about twenty years, and his ex wife turned him in, and he ended up in prison.

ah, you must be from the St Louis area....
yes, I have known 2 people who were murdered...truly terrible deaths. One was many years ago & was only 19. Her murder was never solved. The other just happened this summer to a sweet young woman who was one of my daughter's best friends from work. She was killed by her husband. Now there are 3 young children left without parents. :(
True crime stories/books are very popular. But they need to be well-written & not something done in an exploitative manner.
If you want to read some books by an excellent author of true crime, Ann Rule is EXCELLENT!

Yes, it would be something I would read.
This is a little different. I knew a person that murdered his wife. We moved into a house that was split into apartments when I was 16 years old. The landlord lived above us & kept telling us his wife had died & he was waiting for the insurance money to come & he would fix the place up. I kept telling my mom that I didn't like him & that there was something wrong about the whole thing. He should've been upset about his wife being gone. He ended up being arrested & convicted for killing her. It was very sad..they had two kids.

Yes I know of a couple that I used to see once in a while but I always thought the husband was strange. Well one day the husband just went mad and murdered his wife and kids and himself. It was very sad and when I go by this house they were in it is on my mind..

That's alot of heavy reading and no doubt, you'll get alot of readers.
I've never known anyone who was murdered and I doubt if I've ever known a kidnapper.

Most of these stories would be wonderful as novels but what will end up happening is Lifetime will create some cheesy movie "based on real events" that will just ruin it!
My cousin and her unborn child were raped, stabbed, and murdered in their own home.

I´m sure a book of your experiences would be something that people would like to read. I just wonder why we people like to read about such horrible things like that. It´s the same thing with movies and TV series, the more deaths they show the more popular they are, why???

Ann Rule started her career as a true crime writer because her family knew Ted Bundy, and thought he was a nice guy.
