PS3 or XBOX 360?

Question

Im thinking about trading in my 360 for a PS3...
Is this a good idea?

or should i just wait and buy the ps3 and keep the xbox?

Wait and buy the PS3 and keep the xbox.

The games are coming out for the PS3. But they aren't here quite yet. There are a few really good titles, but not enough to give up on games like Bioshock and Gears of War for. Plus, Mass Effect is coming out and you don't want to miss out on that.

By the time you save up money for your PS3, games like Uncharted, Haze and Ratchet and Clank will be available...and games like Resistance, Folklore and Heavenly Sword will be dirt cheap. Then you'll have the best of both worlds without having to really lose anything.

If you have to pick one, I'd say go for the PS3...but if you can manage it, get both.

I'd keep the xbox 360 at the moment until some decent games come out for the ps3, unless you want the 60gb version of the ps3, in which case you need to buy it before jan/feb 08 because it is only available while stocks last, then the 40gb version will be the only console available for now. It also depends what games you play, if you are into action/war games then at the moment the xbox has it licked, if you play fifa/pro evo and you want to watch Blu-Ray discs on your HD telly then it would be worth while buying the ps3, it is now as cheap as the xbox 360 elite, i found a 40gb ps3 with a game and a hdmi cable for £304.99 from http://www.ps3offer.co.uk

Personally i think that and xbox 360 is better value for money even though PS3 have reduced their prices. If you get and Elite console you will get a 120GB memory and the black console looks much more stylish. X-box has some great games like Halo which are not available on PS3. X-box live is great and is easy to use, also if you get and Elite you get a free silver membership which is not much different to gold and you also get a 3 months gold membership for free. The only major difference between the consoles is that x-box uses HD and PS3 uses Blue-Ray. Because blue-ray is a new technology, most people say that they are not sure if it is going to be a success. You can't really buy that many DVDs on blue-ray format and they are expensive compared to normal DVDs. On the whole if you not really that bothered about DVDs it doesn't really matter what console you buy, but i personally think that an x-box would be a better investment!

You should keep your Xbox 360. I wouldn't recommend buying or trading it in for a PS3.

It depends on which types of games you like and so forth, people say there are great games for 360 and only metion Halo and Gear of War and thats it, while the PS3 has Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, grand turrismo, etc. also the PS3 comes with the ability to play blue-ray Disc, in orde for the 360 to be able to play HD-DVD you have to buy it sepperatly and you should now that since you own one as also as you have to pay for online gaming, when you can play for free on the PS3. but depends on what you like the most.

If you have a GOOD reason that you want to the PS3 over the xbox 360 then go for it? But I don't think you have much of a reason expect maybe Blu-ray?

are u crazy fool xbox has more games that the ps3...if i were u i would keep the xbox and wait!!!!!!and buy the ps3 when u get bored of the xbox or sumthing

not a lot of good games out for ps3 at the min, but within the year im sure there will be a load of new titles, but xbox has already got a good few games out,just get both!!being rich is fun!!

i bought a PS3 but it kept freezing up almost every hour, so I took it back and bought a 360 and it hasn't froze up yet. Also with 360 you get also games like gears of war, halo 3, oblivion, all the call of duty's, and especially BioShock(It's like a combination of halo and call of duty)
