I'm planning to go on a trip around the world, and I'd like to share Pictures and Video with my family and friends back home, so I'll need an Internet Connection.
I have a laptop computer, and, since i'm planning to go in not very high-tech countries, I'd rather not have to depend on Internet points, wich may be very rare.
Is there an international telecommunications provider that offers the service of a worldwide connection (eg. via satellite phone, or portable dish)?
Possibly a flat-rate subscription, so that I won't have to worry about time of connection or amount of data exchanged?

Here is the system I have used. Just make sure that if you are flying you check it in and make sure of the countrys laws. Some countries put a hefty tariff on portable systems. TX

u will find that most countries are big on internet cafes ... u shouldnt have a problem finding a way to get online .. u dont need ur laptop and will find it a burden to hang onto in less developed countries ..

.. also keep in mind that sattelite and gps equipment may get u in deep sneakers in some countries because its considered spy equipment ... i wouldnt try to carry stuff like that ..

One way or another you need to connect to an isp
It may be through another connection - wireless from your card (300 feet indoors / 1000 feet outdoors standard quotes of distance)
read wireless routers that you are allowed into or open
