It depends on what you mean by making it a joke. Normally I try to answer questions seriously, then just now and then, something funny springs to mind, so I put one of my strange answers on. I never mean to offend. Perhaps that's what's nice, people use yahoo questions in different ways because that's what we all are.
There are some very nice people on here that are serious and ones that like to socialise and have a joke, even in their questions, this I find really entertaining.
I'm sure that even though you use the site in a more serious manner that you still love some of the ones that brighten your day with their quick whit (including me?) xxx

I agree that some use it for chats,,,I don't mind the different crazy answers I get,,,they make me laugh....
Most people I found in the few weeks that I am here are great and give very good responses to what I ask,,,I am very thankful for their efforts in helping me ...
SOME are just plain rude and I guess you will find those kind any where there are people..Just a fact of life...I just iggy them and figure they NEED attention any way they can get it..I learned so much about things I had questions about for yrs..THANKS to all the good ,honest, kind people that make this work,,

I do not presume that I can divine the motivation of anyone. However, while some visitors to this venue seem to be developmentally disabled, most ot the participants provide responses that provoke new consideration for me.

So so - and "Important business tool" is it
Which business are you in exactly?
As a Manxman living in a COUNTRY that the English think they own, what the hell has being an Englishman and working with or for US based companies got to do with it?
I worked in Continental Banking and Auditing for countless years and had plenty to do with US companies but they certainly did not operate through the kiddies lounge that this is
You're at the RONG ADDRESS mate

Because some people ask such stupid questions they don't deserve a real answer ie " My cat just got run over. Should I barbque it or use shake and bake?"
They are just doing it for shock value.

i think most questions are answered correctly. But some questions are just plain stupid and need stupid answers. However i think everyone would benefit from understanding that we are all different and have different beliefs and customs and what may be ajoke or acceptable to us could offend others. Its a fine line to judge.
