A fetus wil not make a republican feel guilty when they abuse it, send it off to war or kill it!

Can't we all just find some kind of common ground? Let's all agree that Dick Cheney is a soul sucking incubus that almost certainly consumes small children when no one's looking and John Edwards is a pretty boy ambulance chaser that would give John Kerry a blo... oral sex publicly if he thought it would get him a few votes.
I support abortion, and the statement "abortion is murder" is extremely subjective. A beating heart doesn't mean you have self-conscious living being. There is a surgey, I guess it's experimental still, for patients with heart probelms. They take a piece of your back muscle out of your body, completely disembodied, and using a special "stimulator" (pace-maker like thing) they train the back muscle to pump like a heart. Then they wrap the heart in it and the back muscle and heart become a working unit. Now the actual surgery has only been done once, but that's beside the point. The point is, they can take a piece of back muscle and make it beat like a heart, and even do a heart's job. Maybe it was torture to poke the beating back muscle with a scalple, I meant, it had a pulse!
I get sick of the "us against them" attitude everywhere, democrat and republican politicians suck, mainly just politicians suck, and the rest of us are just people. It would be nice to see a debate where it wasn't treated like everything is black and white, them bad, us good. If you agree with only your party all the time you obviously have no opinions of your own and you're a tool. And I don't consider that a subjective statement at all. Take sides on an issue, not on your entire life.
And if you think that kept me from giving all you filthy conservatives a thumbs down you're crazy. ;)

The same reason Liberals think it's just peachy for people making $80,000 a year to force me (who earns less than half that) to pay more taxes in order to provide them with government- funded health insurance. And try to ram that through Congress on the coattails of the SCHIP. And whine that anyone who opposes it hates children.

You're absolutely right. It's funny how some of these Republicans love to impose their "morals" and strongly advocate for the "unborn". Yet once these disadvantaged "fetuses" (the very ones they fought to keep alive) reach school-age, and need some form of medicaid or a State Children's Health Insurance Program, they vote in favor of cutting out these programs.
A bunch of HYPOCRITES is what they are. They can shove their so-called religious-right "morals" up their elephant a$$es.

They truly love neither. Proclaiming false love for an fetus...excuse me..."unborn child" scores political points by pandering to the religious reich, even if such fanatical zealots realize it's merely lip service. To them, substance does not matter; image is sufficient enough.

Wow do you Democrats really believe that. I love how you spread this as if it was true. Blame the DEMOCRATS for forcing through a bill that they KNEW President Bush would VETO. This way they try to make him look bad. Well some of us don't fall for that but ok. Simple fact is that they KNEW what he would approve and they didn't care.

Why are liberals so easly brainwashed into beleiving what the media tells them. The schip program Bush wanted to increase funds for, he did not want to bring in the socalized madicine that the dems would bring. This was to cover everyone making unbder $80,000.00 per uear, you know the businesses would all of a sudden drop all of our health care. Than we would be stuck with the lousy fedral ran program. They also wanted to raise the ciggerette tax by $0.60 a pack, to fund this program. Well it has been proven that raising taxes just makes more people quit and it is also a tax on the poor.
