Your query is not very clear. I feel that it is a case of a strike at he hotel and as an empoyee you had participated n it. It appears that the strike pulled on far too long and you find it difficult to make both ends meet and so went back t o work. You could have been abused by your collleagues as a Lowl person. In a way they are right simce thdy might also be sufferin but have held on with clenched lips However, every man's problem is different and some are not able to withstand the pressure of circumstances..I can understand your dilemma but can also undersand your prdicament.

What's wrong with cleaning hotel rooms, it is a honest job that you are getting paid to do. There are people out there that are able to work and choose to stay home and live off of welfare, I would say those are the ones that are "lowly". NOT YOU!

Just take pride in your work, and who knows how fast you might climb the ladder, maybe one day you will be the hotel manager.

you are not lowly, if you were than everyone who works in the hospitality industry must be lowly too. Forget that!!!!! These people work hard for their money (and it's low wages, usually) but the hospitality industry could not function and prosper without the "back bone" people that make the hotels, resorts and everything attractive to world travellers. Be proud, I know that some days it gets you down, especially for the low wage but do a good job and be proud of yourself. Your mother is proud of you.

Of course not! I come from wealth and in a lot of ways me getting a "lowly" job would be a joke to the rich, yuppy, arrogant idiots. But that's not stopping me from looking for a job to make my own money. I'd clean hotel rooms. If people think you're "lowly" for cleaning hotel rooms...f*** em! Good luck in all you do!

Honest work is a blessing and no matter what the occupation should be looked at with respect. The way you feel about yourself is whats important, and if you feel you are doing demeaning work then you should make time to take a course to upgrade your skills for better employment.

A lowly person would be someone who would make negative comments about what you're doing. Keep up the good work. Doesn't it feel good to stay busy and productive!!!

Any decent Job such as cleaning hotel rooms is better than no job. As long as your making enough to survive off of and your okay with what you do, it doesnt matter what ANYONE thinks about you. Somebody's gotta do it and since your the one doing it, it just makes you that much better than so many unemployed people out there. Keep on Keepin on!

No, I think you are an admirable person. That's not an easy job, but it's an honest job. My friends mother put 4 kids through school and college by herself doing that. If you want to get ahead and move on, I suggest going to a community college at night (if you're not too tired).

God bless.

Definetly not, I have the most respect for you. You are earning money, not like lazy bums saying there is no jobs. You have to start at the bottom. Remember Maid in Manhattan. You must have a great job if you still have time for YA! LOL
