I think the phrase "be a man" is so funny in some ways. Being a man isn't an age thing, but rather one of character. And that character can include both doing the "right" thing, or doing the "wrong" thing. Those terms are relative to the observer; only you, the man (woman) can know what is right. That's a judgement call of your character. And if the character is good, the call will be good.

Great human. ........ I wanted to say good citizen but then people will only think in terms of deeds bounded by the law. What if they are in private and its something they wanted to do but unethical??? Many a great person had his or her downfall through a moment of urge in private. Presidents, singers, actors, etc..... In this aspect, they have to be reminded by the religious or humane codes. Paste this sticker at a spot where you think nobody is watching all the time. For kids, its the computer I guess. lol........

When I used to ask my mother what can I do to make her happy she would respond with the words, just "be good". And, growing up I was strongly aware of the word "commitment" from both my parents. (commitment = do the right thing). I am woman.

Mensch - roughly meaning a good person in Yiddish - a particularly good person, a stand-up guy.
A person with the qualities one would hope for in a dear friend or trusted colleague.

~~~ "Be Aware"....we need more "Wares" ⺠When you're aware you will see all the right things you need to do,and hopefully you will willingly do them. If everybody was Aware....and did the right thing,there wouldn't be as many starving strays in the world. So, come on World!....open your eyes,be aware...you will see who needs your help. ~~~
