I wanted to be a bus driver like , Mr. Gleason on the honeymooners, I was poor as a child, I saw a doorman & Bellman, and i wanted to be a telephone operater like lilly Tomlin on TV. , I wanted to be a forklift operator. the dreams do come true but you must search the wanted list for jobs and they fall in your lap. If you don't have dreams they won't come true. 1970 I became a forklift operator, 1972 to 1978 I worked at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington , D.C. as a bellman and doorman, I worked in the Circus Circus, Hotel as a busboy, while I was waiting for another job I needed any kind of job to pay my rent, I was reading the want-ads, and they wanted drivers the chance was there, I became afraid ,I will not be able to do that im scared, then I remember the Honeymooners, and my dream to be a bus driver, so I went for it , and i became a Driver of a real Bus 40 feet long, sometimes we are put down so much as a child I was Labeled retarded, so I thought I was , but we can be what ever we want to be , I was a slow learner but when I was showed the way I was better then A person then the ones that were fast at learning, living proof that if you want to be somebody you can, and you are someone when you are born.

When I was four I wanted to be a mermaid. (Hey I was four and I had just seen the little mermaid!) Then I wanted to be a doctor, then a lawyer, then a marine biologist, fashion designer, and now an interior decorator or wedding planner. Right now I'm just a cashier, though!

Apparently that question was asked of me when I was in daycare. I've been told that I wanted to be a football player. My family has always been into football, especially the Chicago Bears.
I did not become a football player though. I'm actually a corporate paralegal now.

I wanted to be, and became, a secretary. But I've lived to see the day that secretaries are synonymous with dinosaurs. All I do today is make copies, answer the phones and proofread. BORING! Also, I work for the Federal Government and am grossly overpaid for what I do. Any idiot could do it.

I wanted to be a lawyer since I can remember. I did the whole bit, went to law school, graduated and now I work in youth development. I guess I was pretty jaded after law school and didn't want to live my life as a suit without a soul. Did I mention I was jaded?
