I have just logged on and saw that the BBC are being forced to apologise for Jeremy Clarkson and James May smoking Pipes on Top Gear - none of the audience complained, just someone with nothing better to do!
Do they moan when Dot Cotton lights up in Albert Square, after all that is a studio!
Did anyone see Sunday's Top Gear - class, especially when Clarkson burnt his mouth on the pipe!
I am a smoker, and I do agree with the smoking ban, but has'nt it gone a little bit politically correct! What do you think?

I knew the anti-smoking nazis would complain about that! I was in tears of laughter watching that show, I think they just do it to wind up the PC brigade, who rise to the bait every time.

Its a shame it has descended into a slagfest between fans of the 'top two' and throwing around banal questions that are not relevant to anyone (Senna better than Schumacher for the 903857th time?) It doesn't help that there isn't really much to talk about either, even after a race. Maybe its symptomatic of the sterile world of F1 these days. I enjoy sharing (learning really!) the knowledge from Rosbif and Dan and its great to be, like Val and Top Gear, a fan first and foremost and a woman second! But some of the nonsense thrown out recently has been silly and infantile- all this focus on Hamilton's tax exile and Moseley's whipped bottom is just not on. Let's get back to basics, Formula One Motor Sport. All those that want to talk about the peripheral crap should please go into the CART section. . .or the footie thuggery.

Yes it has got ridiculous. In the town center where I live is a pub and regularly you see people from the council parked up hoping to catch smokers outside the pub dropping their cigarette ends on the floor.

Rarely watch BBC. Yes it's stupid ridiculous. California just passed a law where you CANNOT smoke in your OWN apartment or condo !
You CANNOT smoke in the car if you have kids with you in California.
There is NO documented evidence that second hand smoke kills.
By the way, I quit smoking over one year ago, I still visit my favorite restaurant where if you don't like smoking, DON'T COME IN. They have it posted on the door.

I thought it was funny and laugh out loud, but afterwards I thought people would complain and they did.
Anyway Jeremy will say sorry and then put in a funny quip afterwards...
So bah humbug to all you boring people out there......and Jeremy, James and Richard carry on doing what you do and stuff everyone else.

I think if someone has got nothing better than to complain about that what a sad life they must lead, some people complain about anything, I wouldn't even know who to complain to!
