It will be in Boston or Cleveland. Home field advantage in the World Series is determined not by record but by which league wins the All-Star game. Since the AL won the All-Star game this year, the AL team in the World Series has home field advantage.

AL team gets first game and homefield advantage. It is based on what league wins the All Star game. As usual the AL won, but it doesn't matter. Nobody can beat the Rockies.

It will be in Cleveland. The winning team from the all-star game determines home field advantage for that league's representative in the World Series.

no it doesnt it only matters who won the all star game. I think it was the american league that won. Whoever it is (national or american league), that is who gets home field advantage in the world series.
