We're moving from Texas to Virginia and really don't have much furniture, but too many boxes to just move ourselves. Is there a company that is inexpensive, but still trustworthy?

you can try uhaul--they have locations all over and you can pick up the truck or trailer in texas and return in virginia--since you dont have a lot of furniture it would be cheaper to just move yourself instead of hiring a whole moving company

Those movers that you rent the cube from and they move it are marvelous. You can load the cube either at your house (which is more expensive) or at the local terminal, then they ship it for you and you can either empty it from your new house or the new local terminal. There are many different companies that do this now. I just did it the beginning of the year and saved a TON of money.
