i used to talk to him often but since he told me how he feels it seems he is avoiding me i love him what should i do

Did you tell him back? This happened to me also. Neither was married. I hope that neither of you are married because if you are just forget it.
I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything. I mentioned it to him later that night and then he said I misunderstood, he loves me as a friend. I really think it was because I didn't say anything.
He is probably really confused. If I could do it over, I would have told him too. He probably feels something for the one he is with now and feels for you.
If you love him let the other person go. Don't bother him or play any games. I didn't mean to but being confused I would be with him and freak and then tell him he was like a brother. Just break it off with the other person and let him make his decision. NO PRESSURE.

This again is a case of actions speak louder than words. If he loved you he wouldn't be involved with someone else and if you really felt love for him, you wouldn't either. I suspect you are using the involvement you feel to avoid loneliness but you need to work on building your own self esteem, get rid of both of these guys and make friends first before getting involved with anyone else and you will find one of the friends will be the love that you give and receive in return, and it will be far more than what you feel now. you have shared an important part of your lives with each other. And eventhought it may have been love, now, since you are both with others, it is more like a love for you. He is not disrespecting you, he is showing that you have held an important part of his life and he still recognizes that fact.
Why is he avoiding you now? probably due to the mixed emotions it brings up. He still has a love for you, but you are each in other relationships. Does he want to mess his up? yours? either? Mixed emotions..... get it?
Hang in there and let life take its course.

depends b/c if you are both married maybe youll need to not talk b/c you have pledged your life to someone else, but if you'll are not married just ask him what he truly means and having sex is not how to show somone you love them that is part of it but not all of it. You show love thru the way you treat each other and care for one another.

It is certainly possible to love someone you are not sleeping with. Traditionally, that is an expression of love, not a way to create it.

Please just go to therapy, if you can't find anyone or you can't afford it, you have to find a way to communicate to this man, and you have to be willing to listen even though what he has to say may hurt. You both have to ditch the side shows if you really want it to work. Good luck, and remember, he's just a man. No one is perfect, we all need to feel wanted

Break up with whoever you're involved with and let him know whats goin on, talk to him about it and he should not be with someone else if he really loves you.

he is trying to get in your pants... he will tell you anything until he gets a peice of the pie.... he will then continue to use you until you finally figure it out.... he will never leave his wife... cause he has her AND he has you .......
But because you love the attention, you will ignor this comment and have sex with him... and eventually you will figure it out for yourself.
