In contemporary society, making money is almost a necessity to obtain the basic necessities for survival. Thus, it can be said that one's entire life revolves around making money though in some instances, this is not always the case.

I'm no stranger to going hungry so making money is important, but I don't think my life revolves around it. Then again, I'm trying to put my 2 daughters through college (so they can get the education I didn't have the opportunity to get). Don't underestimate the importance of money. I never want to be hungry again. Makes those "best things" hard to appreciate.

Well, lucky for me, I get to stay home with my two boys, while my husband goes to work and makes all the $$ for all those necessities in life that do cost money. So I guess mine revolves more around the best things in life which are FREE!

I get to spend the day playing with my boys - teaching them, snuggling them, watching them grow and learn, and develop! It IS truly the BEST thing in life!!

Actually, thank you for asking this question - it made me realize that I do get to focus on the BEST things in life!...and I am more thankful for it now ^_^
