Hmmm...that story sounds fimilar. Where have I heard that from? A country having WMD...the profits from their oil will pay for the war...and their people will welcome us with open arms. De ja vu.

Liberate us from whom? Ourselves? We have been stockpiling WMD's for years, unfortunately they all melt in the summer but each winter we re-stock with fresh snowballs. And it goes without saying that we support Al Queda, that is why we are in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban. Since we are not with you in Iraq, we must be against you, Bush logic... Canada , for the record is a nuke free country and while we have nuclear power, we have chosen to not make weapons. Hard to imagine isn't it, choosing not to make weapons when you can. May be why Canadians can travel anywhere in the world without fear of reprisals just because of where you are from. novel concept, not living in fear, some of our neighbours ought to try it sometime. Glad to see people like this asker still have a sense of humor. Have a great day and remember fences don't necessarily make for better neighbours and they can keep you in as well as others out. And walls/fences historically have worked well, Berlin Wall for example.

I can only hope this question is said in jest. Of course, that's the reasoning that got us into Iraq. If we did the same thing to Canada we could count on the same disastrous results we are getting in Iraq. I've spent several years in Canada. I doubt most Canadians would want to be "liberated" by the United States. By the way, it's spelled "Al Qaeda."

So I take it that they have an evil dictator killing citizens by the thousands with those WMDs, right ? And the mass graves are filling up.
Somehow I doubt it.

Yes, but don't tell Bush that.
He will go in there without permission from any of our allies and TRY to liberate that piece of land, too.
