What a sick thought. A man who gets awards for intentionally lying and is one of the world's biggest hypocrites.
That question actually made me shudder because the libs love this guy that much.
toffee...You are close when you imply that not only liberals are impressed. You should say not ALL liberals are impressed. He is becoming more and more a laughing stock among conservatives as well as many liberals. Just because you are fooled by a fool, does not mean that your whole party is.
Looney...your name fits. Let's skip that Gore does not deserve ANY title right to your laughable comment that the Sec Gen of the UN has more influence than the President of the US. The UN is an inept group of leeches who have not accomplished anything for decades. What influence do they truly have??? NONE!
Rimmer...Gore puts forth a movie as truth, and it has been shown to be exagerations and deceptions to the point that EVEN HE admitted that he exagerated for effect. Who would call someone like that a Statesman? Only a sheep who cannot get enough of his lies and BS. By the way, have you heard him speak? I have...he spoke at the College here, and I went. I laughed all the way through it. He cannot hold a conscious thought. He is EXACTLY the opposite of what you think he is. Oh, and the GOP likes him EXACTLY where he is.

Gore is the kind of person that the GOP wishes they had. He has class, distinction, brains and can speak two sentences without sounding like a brain-dead spaz.
Gore is a rare bird these days. At one time he would be called a Statesman or a Renaissance Man. And neocons know it and can't stand it. They're stuck with Dumbo and he's making them look even worse.

Actually, your sarcasm aside, he has indeed become an important figure. However, I am not ready for him to be secretary general just yet. I'd prefer bestowing a different title on him. Something like President of the United States. And, for your information, just in case you haven't been following the news in the last couple of years, it isn't just liberals who are impressed with the man.
