I think the Blair Government has done more to ruin this country and done more damage to our democratic checks and balances than Adolf Hitler We now have a Ministry of Justice which I note in every country which has that title is another name for Police State Injustice. Clown Brown will be no better

the conservatives ruined britain
and labour did the same....
perhaps we should all be communist? no? well then we just have to put up with it. Whilst they have all done bad things, they have obviuosly got something right. The country is, after all, still one of the largest economies in the world, with some of the best schools and universities, and a health system that is admired throughout the world (even if we in britain don't like it that much).....
You could ask the same question of many parties in government, but opposition is always a good thing, as it brings forwards new ideas for labour to steal and so implement. The more varied this opposition, the better laws passed are for everyone, than if we just had two parties in parliament.

Their political stance may be a little hard to understand at times. But remember one thing all you Labour & Tory voters who are opposed to the war in Iraq - they are the only party who vetoed the invasion until concrete evidence was presented. They were out voted by the combined labour & tory vote.

Opposition is always a good thing, it keeps a government on their toes.
However I think at the moment the Liberal Party are on their knees and need a good shake up.
A good leader might help them to increase ratings at the polls.

People always hate liberals
Capitalism was a liberal idea once.
And so was democracy.
Does individual rights ring a bell, also liberal.
