So, I meet someone over the weekend at someone's birthday bonfire. He seems really nice... A little older, good looking, says he goes to church (blah blah).... Anyway, he tells me on Sunday that he really wants to spend more time with me & get to know me better, so I was like..alright, cool. Well, he asks if I could pick him up because his car is messed up...so I do. He gets in the car...I'm driving...then he says, "Stop at this B.P. up there." So, I did. Then he tells me to give him a dollar, so I look at him, and I say, "Are you kidding me?"...and he was like "No, give me a dollar, I'll pay you back." So, I did. Anyway, we went to my apartment & watched a movie. He's sitting on my couch and says, "I'm hungry, fix me a sandwich or something & a drink?"... At this point, I was mad and told him that I didn't care if he was hungry... Don't boss me around. Ask nicely for things and maybe you will receive..but do not tell me what to do. I made him get a ride home.. Is that mean?

I'd actually say he was the jerk. Who the hell does he think he is, telling you to do things for him after just meeting you? I think you were pretty tolerant after the BP thing. This guy much have been pretty good looking for you to put up with that.

Anyways, yeah, he crossed a line and you had every right to behave as you did. It might have been nicer to give him a ride home since you did pick him up, but at least it sent a clear signal that you're done.

No way. You're totally in the right. It sounds like he was expecting you to put on a maid's uniform and serve him. It's enough that you had to pick him up and give him money (even if it is only a dollar), but then make him food? When you haven't even really started dating? Psssh... crazy fool.

And if you think you're a jerk, you should hear the things I've done. I stopped dating a guy because he wore his pants too tight and walked funny.

No not at all - he's the jerk for demanding the things he did in the ways he did.
Forget about him - there's better people out there who'll be getting you things to eat or drink and driving you around.

No sounds like the guy was showing his true jerk colors. Frankly an embarresment to the gender. I apologize on behalf of all bozo's like him. Now go get yourself a man that deserves you.

Absolutely not !! You did just the right thing. There was no call for that type of behavior from this jerk. I'm proud of you for telling him where to go. You don't deserve that from anyone.

NO! NOT AT ALL!
You should feel 0% sorry about it, coz HE should be the one who's supposed to be nice coz he's the one who wants to "know you more"...

While I was reading your story, I thought you guys were gonna end up in a date, and apparently, he's going to be the worst date ever! He sounds like a lazy fat husband and you barely even know him!

Nice Going!

You acted properly...this guy is a jerk. You can definitely do better. When he asked for a dollar, that should have been your first clue...turn around and drive this guy home!
