I have read everywhere that you should be able to feel your uterus above the pubic bone but I cant seem to feel anything, that area seems still quite soft. My actual stomach seems lots bigger though. Is there a reason for this???? I am totally stressing myself out!

Why does everyone think I am 14? I am 28!!

I am 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant.

Well its not easy to feel your uterus, but the swelling is the developing baby,

in a few weeks you should feel movement and the baby will let you know exactly where he is,

Congrats, and ignore the 14 year old question/answer.
It was obviously a typo

Im takin as you mean 14 weeks 4 days pregnant and not 14 yrs old and 4 days pregnant, But anyways, your fine, i never felt my uterus, your stomach will not start getting hard until much further down the road when the baby starts getting bigger! Your next appointment ask the doctor to place your hand where your uterus is, that way you will know.

Try not to worry about this. Just focus on the good news, you are pregnant and things are going well. You may begin to feel funny feelings in your stomach soon...the baby moving.
I am pregnant with my 3rd child and have never thought about feeling my uterus.

You are fine, every women's body isn't the same during pregnancy. I have a Aunt who was small frame and when she got pregnant, as months went on she did not show. As she got further in her pregnancy in her late months she had maybe a small pouch in her stomach. She had a healthy baby boy who was not under weight, she just carried him low.
With me on the other hand when I became pregnant I looked like a great beach whale. My stomach was huge. You'll find you are alright, and don't compare yourself to other pregnant women. Keep seeing your doctor and follow his orders, ask questions, and read pregnancy books.

Don't stress it won't help the baby...

give it another week or so as everyone is different. I bet you are not the same height or weight as your mum or sister! or whoever,

Keep wellx

Calm down calm down. You're fine. Remember that you're not a doctor and you can't recognize certain areas as well as a doctor can.

Where is your mother?

Get her to take you to an OB/GYN so you can get your questions answered there.

LOL....I reread your question....and the way you have it worded you're 14 years old and 4 days pregnant.....oops sorry.....LOL
