If it is your anniversary it should be something both of you can enjoy. There are some nice, inexpensive hotels you can go too, or what about going back to the place were you met or you had your first date? Just make it special for both of you. Congrats.

That is really far away. You could save up the money to get him something or who said you have to get him anything. If he is your boyfriend he should know your financial situation ans understand.
