YES!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! Although, I always find the run up to Christmas is better than the actual day!

This is the first year in a very long time that I'm looking forward to Christmas. Can't even tell why, really. I went to Costco in mid September, and they already had their Christmas stuff out I couldn't believe it. But now, I'm looking forward to it. I've done some shopping already, and I hope to be done by Nov. 1, so I can actually ENJOY the holidays!

It's simply a time when I think people get more friendly (as long as they aren't fighting over the last Tickle Me Elmo doll), and think about others more. Plus, my favorite Dickens story, A Christmas Carole, is once more in our local theater. It's a really nice time of year.

I start looking forward to Christmas in July, when the Hallmark ornaments come out.

I really love Christmas, the wrapping presents, decorating my house, and putting up my pet's stockings on the mantel,BUT,this year has been a tough one for me,and the money is low.I usually try to get my four brothers a new shirt on sale from somewhere, but I think that is getting boring to them.My family isn't real fun at Christmas but I still love them.

I love the Jolly Season! I don't go mad with lights on my house, but all through December I'm pumping festive music into my head and reading festive stories like "A Christmas Carol"

I've also discovered Flickr Groups, there are festive groups with all festive photo's and you can run them like a slideshow on your computer. A nice dynamic and yet subtle Christmas decoration.

not really.. a 6 bedroom holiday house on a beautiful australian beach with 4 screaming bratty kids...dad hiding in the bedroom reading or fishing to get away from having to mind them. me relaxing on the couch reading a book only to hear 'oh, can you watch the baby for me? (huge staircase, spa, pool, etc) not talking or playing music cause nan & pop are resting during the day..and night....oh and 9 other annoying people i dont really like...apparently they are family from london? and i have to make inane polite conversation when no-one really gives a stuff about anyone anyway... so NO, i think i will stay home with the cat and ferret..if i can find a valid excuse as dad wants me there for someone to escape with,

I dread christmas actually... it's all too lovey dovey...
call me negative, but I'm always always on my own this time of the year... since it's not a family affair for me.

And damn, the shops have started selling christmas cards in the middle of september... dear lord

I look forward to decorating and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, but I don't look forward to the never-ending search for just the right gifts.
