Yes, I think that a person's style is an outward expression of their identity. It is a way of controlling how the world sees you and perceives you. That said, style is not identity. A person's identity remains the same no matter what they are wearing or how their hair is. Thus, a girl can be a virgin even if she wears revealing clothes, etc. etc.

That's an extremely vague question...Are you talking about clothing style? Maybe...preppy, Gothic, punk, skatboardish, blah blah blah labels? I'd say yes. There is a relationship between those styles/labels and identity. Obviously it's not true in all cases but, in some, it certainly is. I'm not sure what you mean by identity though? Are gothic dressing kids more depressed? More pessimistic? Maybe. But that's a stereotype. And the pairing of any other labels with certain identities is stereotyping.

Yes there is. Identity projects your style but only style changes with the times and your identity remains the same. Your style of dress will vary according to what is in vogue or fashion of the day but the same you who is stubborn, lazy, romantic, etc--your identity-- remains with you always.

I've changed my style many times, both dress wise, make-up wise etc., but my identity has never changed. (My name has but I know you don't mean that). So what I'm actually saying is you can change your style (external influence) but not your identity (internal influence).

No.
Your style can BE your identity, if you care what PEOPLE think about you.
Your identity is -who you are, because Christ loves you, making you a child of God.
