i have a macbook, and i am enoying it very much! it is very personalizable, and very user-friendly... there is unlimited things you can do with a mac... plus there is no virus that will slow down the activities of your computer... the battery life is excellent and the operating system (macintosh) doesn't consume battery that much! the airport (the feature that catches wi-fi connection) is very strong compared to windows-based. and don't worry about those applications, because windows applications are starting to be available for apple... a computer has never been this good...

Sure... Never spend a dollar bill,. Every dollar bill you get put in to a box somewhere.... In a few short months you will have enough money to go buy yourself a brand new laptop.
Don't believe me.... try it for a month, you will have AT LEAST $100.

I've got a dell made in about 2000 that needs a hard drive, that is about 50.00 on ebay.
I'll sell it to you for 50.00, new battery and new powercord.

Go to a PC store and ask for a lap-top... Dell inspiron would be a better lap-top...
