Doesn't make sense to me. It's like saying you don't want candy because you have a cold. Or like saying you don't want to watch a movie because you have a cold. What does one have to do with the other? I can understand that you might not have energy, but you can have sex without expending much energy. I could be half dead and I'd still have sex. I'm not being a jerk, I just don't understand it.

Being sick you can't think straight, let alone have sex. I don't think it's sensible or logical to expect sex from a woman with a cold. I don't ask for it then, and my husband doesn't either. He has more respect for me than that, he wants me to rest not become exhausted...making my healing process take longer.
You need another hobby.

I can feel achy and sick and still eat a piece of candy or watch a movie. However, as much as I like sex, I won't want to have it if I feel crappy. Also, I wouldn't want to give my partner a cold. Or maybe she just isn't into you.

Depends how ill you feel. I've had some stinkin colds and by god the last thing on my mind has been sex. When your tempature is high and you feel a little sick (i couldnt eat candy in that position) and are dizzy on your feet...or you just feel knackered! Sometimes it can really take it out of you and your sex drive just goes. Look after her as she just needs a little tlc...showing that you care more about her health may make her more ready to please!

maybe your wife is concerned that her runny nose will get the best of her... she is uncomfortable and wouldnt want to do anything bt rest... if your the husband, then you should understand her and give her tender loving care like giving her massage, and letting her relax and not harrass her into having sex with you... you can wait can you? colds can just go away without medicine... so be patient...

what an animal I would make my husband sleep on the couch if he treated me like that. Shes sick doesnt feel great and instead of tenderness from her husband you want her to lay there and let you have at her.... Arent you concerned with her well being
