Hello.

When my girlfriend and I were at the Renaissance Faire this summer, we saw some head dresses that were crocheted instead of make out of chainmaile.

Does anyone know where to find patterns for them? I saw some years ago, but haven't been able to find any lately.

Thanks for your help,
Robbie

Thanks for the answers so far. The items we saw weren't really snoods. They were chainmaille recreations using crochet instead of chainmaille.

I think you mean a snood. If you want one more historically accurate than crochet (an 18th century invention) look for sites on netting. As far as I know, that's how snoods were originally made.
