If he stays healthy, I think he definitely has the potential, but running backs usually start to decline after 30, and LT is still going strong. If I had to guess, I would say no, but Adrian Peterson will be an elite RB.

Peterson is a very good running back. I have heard people compare him to Barry Sanders. Small, yet very quick. If he stays healthy, he will surely overtake LT. But LT is great in his own ways too. He can carry a team to victory. Even when the Chargers are down, they are never out.

It will be great to see what Peterson can do. I know he will be giving me headaches for years to come.

nicely, Adrian Peterson has in uncomplicated terms been interior the league one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and LT has been interior the league lots longer, and has concistantly positioned up reliable numbers and has been the ideal NFL returned for years. additionally, AP has a miles better line then LT, and that i think of it rather is to early to tell if AP is larger then LT, yet i think of AP would be a great RB. additionally to the person together with his call "LT for President" are YOU an fool? Peterson had lots extra then "a mind-blowing 3 hundred and sixty 5 days' He gained rookie of the three hundred and sixty 5 days award and positioned up a million,341 yards dashing he additionally averaged 5.6 yards. and positioned up 12 dashing TD's alongside with a million TD seize. Thats no longer a mind-blowing 3 hundred and sixty 5 days chum, thats a mind-blowing 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. And by ability of ways, it form of sounds like your slightly passionate approximately LT so i think of you would be the only extra probable to positioned on his jockstrap.

Peterson has had one great game, you can't judge or predict what is going to happen. He has looked great for moments, yet he needs to string together a few good seasons before we can start anointing him as on of the greatest. Who says that LT is the greatest. His season this year has been anything but spectacular. His own teammate Turner has looked better at times.

In all honesty though I would love to see both of them go down as to of the greatest, just to say we saw greatness play. Only time will tell.

Peterson is one of the best talents to ever come into the league. He is a very level-headed kid too. He should be a legend just like Tomlinson. He is more like Dickerson with the toughness of Campbell or Payton.

No, just because he's had 5 good games, doesnt mean he'll match up against L.T.'s 8 great years. L.T. has 100 TD's in over 8 years thats amazing and Peterson is great dont get me wrong but LT is on a different playing field.

I think it'll be close. Should be a good one to debate for years to come.

Ultimately, I think LT will win out. Slightly.
