The government does the best they can to keep up with the many scams that abound today. The internet ahs brought even more frauds into the game. In order to stop a fraud, there must first be proof that the fraud actually exists. This requires investigation and investigation takes time. The scam artists that regularly suceed know how long they can get awy with one scam or another before moving on to another. Your best protection is to check and recheck any offers you recieve, especially if the "deal" comes by telephone, mail or e-mail. Think sevral times before engaging in any deal that you did not start. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself "did they call me, or did I call them?". If they called you first, beware.

Do not send money UpFront via Western Union or MoneyGram to any person or business in the UK, Nigeria or Canada in hopes of getting a loan. If you do you will learn a hard lesson & never see any Loan money. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! NEVER give out your personal information to strangers online!
