Cultures, Politics of man and people change the Bible and it's truths doesn't..Forgiveness comes from God once a person Confesses their sin and changes their Lifestlye. It can be the life of a thief as Demonstrated on Calvary, murder, fornication, adultery or even homosexuality......By the Way Islam nor True Judaism allows for it. In Islam both parties are put to death. Christians are most gracious and tolerant. They simply give the message as found in Scripture. It is not what God intended for mankind to be. Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus20:13, Romans 1, 1st Corinthians10:13, James 1:12, James 4:17, Revelation 22, Daniel 11:37, Hebrews 8:12, 1 John 1:9, 1st Corinthians 6:9-10.

Both sides were out of order. The 'Christian' asked to be attended to by someone else because the librarian's lifestyle offended him. Had he been in a shop, he could have taken his business elsewhere but this was a public library so he had no choice. The librarian also felt offended so he immediately banned the Christian.
There seems to be a contradiction between freedom to choose your religion and beliefs, and being politically correct.
While there are certain lifestyles out there that I do not agree with, I would never intentionally offend anyone or discriminate against them. How the Christian knew the librarian was in a same sex marriage I do not know, but there is obviously a lot more to the story that we have not been told.

Set in their own ways, narrow minded and it is not just Christians any person can be homophobic they usually learn it from their upbringing or surroundings, I'm christian and i have nothing against gays or anyone for that matter, i don't think anybody that is intolerant of people because of race, belief or sexuality does not understand what it actually means to be christian, i think God loves everybody and accepts people no matter any of those things; he judges the type of person they are to others ie if they are cruel or mean, and we should love everybody just the same as he does.

Basically people tend to be afraid/scared of things that are different to them. It is not true that all Christians believe that homosexuals are "in a state of sin'', this is in fact a source of great conflict within many Christian denominations. Most Christians who are against homosexuality treat gay people with respect.
Whilst I agree that the customer in the library should not have behaved as he did, there have been several cases of people who work with the public being told to remove religious symbols such as crosses from their clothing, which is just as wrong.

(This decision was later reversed however).

Homosexual behaviour my be legal but it is still a sin to a Christian. It is not pig ignorance it is knowing right from wrong. I do think however that greater attention should be paid to the sins of all of us. The cover for the greatest stupidity and evil is often "this is the bright new way" " You are out of date" " It's my life" " You are stupid if you think that " " If you had any form of intelligence you would accept/not accept that " I regret to say that it is you and people like you who are fooling themselves

No sorry, the man is not a moron, just an older generation . When he was a boy it was ILLEGAL to be gay. Don't be so harsh on him. He can't help it.
