Hi,

If I'm interpreting your question correctly, you want to know if you can teach or help young women even if you do not have a teaching degree, or certificate in a certain field?

I believe that you can make a HUGE impact, simply based on the fact that you want to help! You could start by volunteering at a women's shelter, or a crisis phone line. You would receive training from both once you were accepted. Doing any kind of volunteer work would put you in touch with the "Right" kind of people...those you want to help AND those you can learn from.

It takes a very special person to want to help others & the fact that you have a burning desire to do so, means that you ARE one of the special ones. You have unresolved issues in your own life? You always will. We all do for the most part, but getting involved in helping others will certainly also give you the tools you need to also help yourself. The world needs more people like you. I wish you the very best & I truly hope that you forge ahead & make this dream a reality in your life.

Thanks for being a caring person,
GK

One who's perfect in certain areas doesn't mean one can teach. i think the more important aspect to teaching should be leading them onto the right path and let them discover aspects that interest them.

No one's perfect, no one will have a perfect life, doesn't mean we don't have hopes though. so to your answer... why not?

No such thing as perfection and until you get that you shouldn't teach. The best advice comes from people who have been through sh*t. One must be enthusiastic and have extensive, flexible knowledge of the subject they are teaching to be effective.

I don't believe that perfection is required to teach. As learning is a progression, we all stand to continue learning. Teachers learn from their students...
