30 minutes + as long as it takes to find a 25 metre long ladder.

With all due respect and not knowing at all if this is a Poll or test question; I agree that the TIME is a vague issue to debate. Obviously answers 1 and 2 have validity.
The question is likely impossible to answer in the strict sense; given the dozen or so factors that determine the install, no matter if it's 8 ft or a mile high.
I guess I'm most curious about why the question is being asked?
Steven Wolf
Even more curious; and obviously I'm guilty too; is why we answer questions like this?
ADDED thought: Applause for "203" I suspect manuevering anything 25 metres tall to even reach a light fixture install, could be an all day affair.

How heavy is 'very heavy'?? between the heaviest lights I ever erected in a house got here from a stately residing house and weighed approximately a hundred and sixty lbs, a strategies too heavy for a ceiling field. I had a metallic area fabricated and drilled to greater healthy and bolt in place between 2 joists interior the room above. the easy installation's backplate had 8 bolts that went ideal for the period of the plate above, the place it became into bolted up, then it became into linked. this is nevertheless there, approximately 8 years later!!

An almost entirely different proposition.
For a ceiling that high you will almost certainly need to build a scaffold tower, (source it, transport it and carry to the work site). At that height you will also need to be wearing a safety harness and work with another person.
You need to clear the area around the tower, (in case of tools falling off) and post warning signs.
All in all I would charge by the hour and estimate for half a day.

The actual fitting itself takes the same amount of time whatever the height of the ceiling.
(the fitting is just terminating the wires / fixing the lights to the beams)
It is very difficult to work out how long it would take to lay the cables aswell as it isn't simple maths.
Especially as working at that height has all sort of problems associated with it (working at heights regulations).
If you wanted a rought guess (based on your times) then 12hours ish.
Hope that helped
