Yes, I am just wondering about that too. The last question I answered 4 hours ago that was posted in Jokes & Riddles got some nasty remarks from some uptight dumb @zzh0l3s. Jeezz, the joke was so hilarious that I decided to answer with goofiness that was meant to amuse the asker since he is one of my contacts. But one bloke didn't get the joke! I almost fell off my chair when I read his answer addressed to me!!!

Maybe they feel like there is some truth to the goofy question and want to offer real help. I've asked a serious question in a goofy way and got a mix of answers..

The world is full of people with different personalities and different senses of humor, as well as people who do not have much of a sense of humor.
What may be obviously a joke to one person, may seem quite serious to another with a different humor style. People may either not get the joke or not be sure and try to give a responsible answer as they see it.
I try to answer serious questions with serious responses(a lot of people give flippant responses to everything) and joke questions with a joke, but I'm sure I've taken some seriously that were not meant that way since I have answered so many questions.
Finally some epople just do not know how to have fun.
