Good to ask!
Request and follow your doctor's advice.
When my wife was pregnant we were advised that it was ok until the point where it became uncomfortable for her. Avoid undue pressure on her abdomen, of course. The baby is usually well protected until it changed physical attitude and begins to travel (seat) into the birth position before it travels through the birth canal.

There is no reason why you can not have sex with your wife if she is 8 months pregnant. UNLESS the doctor says otherwise. Certain things such as her being dilated can make the doctor say no because bacteria can get to the baby. Also you might want to refrain from "finishing" inside her because there is something in sperm that can cause a women to go into labor. But if everything else is o.k. in the doctors eyes, then have fun now because the weeks after the baby is born you wont be able to!

Does she want to? I am 8 months pregnant right now, and I don't want my husband to look at me hard, much less touch me... BUT, with my daughter, I was very, very interested all the way til she was due...
People say that sex brings on labor, but honestly, I don't put a lot of stock into it because we were like rabbits during my last month with my daughter and I was a week late... so I guess it just depends on how ready her body is to give birth... Every expert I have ever heard from says that it is ok to continue having sex as long as her water hasn't broken, or she hasn't been told specifically not to...
Bottom line, pregnant women are very self-conscious, and if you haven't been having sex with your wife because of your hang-ups, you should really put forth an effort to let her know that you see beyond the stretch marks and huge belly... Sex, especially when it's affirming, is such a great pick me up for a woman who probably needs a pick me up right about now...

from my experience, yes most definitely. Put it this way, when I was ready to have my first child, and labor was not coming, my doc told my husband to take me home and have sex with me, and sure enough after a couple of days of wonderful togetherness, labor began!
the main concern at this time is if she begins to be uncomfortable, stop, you can finish each other off in other ways. If she starts to have contractions, stop, if it is still too early to have the baby, i.e. before 36 weeks.
You cannot hurt the baby, it is so cushioned inside, the baby will not get hurt, just don't have it too rough.
congrats! by the way

If you're having a normal pregnancy, sex is considered safe during all stages of the pregnancy.
DO NOT:
If you engage in oral sex, your partner should not blow air into your vagina. Blowing air can cause an air embolism (a blockage of a blood vessel by an air bubble), which can be potentially fatal for mother and child.
If your doctor, nurse-midwife, or other pregnancy health care provider anticipates or detects certain significant complications with your pregnancy, he or she is likely to advise against sexual intercourse.
AND ACTUALLY WHE YOUR WIFE HAS AN ORGASM IT IS RELAXING AND SOOTHING TO THE BABY.
So to answer your question as long as your doctor has not told you to stop the sex, your free to do it, as long as the wife is wanting it.

As long as the doctor gives her the ok then it is fine. Some women at this stage of pegnancy do not feel comfortable having sex, and if that is how your wife feels try to be sensative about it. It doesn't hurt the baby, the only potential problem is that your sperm has something in it that can actually initiate labor, but that doesn't really happen that often. Good luck!

yes you can as long as she feels up to it at 8 months pregnant it can be hard for a woman to enjoy sex with her size and all the other Elements that come with the late stages of pregnancy as long as you are both happy to do so then yes
ps it has been knows that sex near the due date can start labour

Yes though it may be very difficult trying to find a comfortable position.
A good tip though is when your wife is nearly due and wanting baby out come inside her (sorry for being so literal)
No im not sick but the semen induces labour therefore bringing labour on that little bit quicker
